Junior Friends of Balboa Park

Earn a Junior Friends Patch at the Museum of Man

Junior FriendsCome experience Balboa Park by experiencing a performance, participating in a workshop, exploring a site on your own, or joining a free program. Come again and again and you may earn a Junior Friends of Balboa Park Patch. This program is designed for non-profit organized youth groups for ages 6 through 17. Please view the Junior Friends of Balboa Park brochure for more details. Activities for the Junior Friends Patch are documented with stamps or stickers from the various institutions in the park. Download a Passport for your stamps and stickers here.

Your visit to the Museum of Man includes a self-guided tour and scavenger hunt. Please reserve your group at least two weeks in advance to guarantee a group rate of $3.00 per child. Group leaders: Please use our Registration Form to register your group's Junior Friends of Balboa Park vistt to the Museum of Man. Advance reservations are required to guarantee the $3.00 group rate for each child.

You may download the Junior Friends Scavenger Hunt information and make copies for each participant before your visit.

If you must cancel a reservation, please notify us at least 10 days prior to the scheduled program. We charge full-price for “no shows,” and for cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled program.
