Have you ever wondered how micro-financing works? Hear from people heading up micro-lending efforts in San Diego as they share their stories from their experiences of providing micro-loans to women locally and around the world. From the nuts and bolts of providing loans, to the overall macroeconomic picture, they’ll address the questions interested individuals might ask before becoming a micro-lender and share incredible stories of the impact a small loan can make.

This discussion panel is in association with the Empowering Women: Artisan Cooperatives that Transform Communities exhibition, which has been organized by the museum of International Folk Art in Sante fe, NM, and circulated through GuestCurator Traveling Exhibitions.

The discussion panel is free with museum admission
