On the first Tuesday of each month, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., the Museum hosts Culture, Coffee & Conversation, a discussion about an anthropological article or film, or recent research by guest scholars. Enjoy coffee, baked goods, and discussion about timely topics in contemporary anthropology.

Please join us in celebrating San Diego's diverse communities and countries of origin with our Tower After Hours evenings of traditional folk art, regional food and drinks, and performances from distant lands.
The fascinating study of rock art is the subject of our annual Rock Art Symposium, held on the first Saturday of November every year. This day-long event offers participants the opportunity to share in the results of rock art research around the globe, presented in slide-illustrated lectures. Read More.
The biannual Rose Tyson Forensic Sciences Seminar features prominent crime experts and physical anthropologists who discuss the many methods, techniques, and procedures used to help solve crimes, identify unknown human remains, and determine causes of death. The next scheduled seminar is fall 2011.
