At the San Diego Museum of Man,
we strive to be the place to go to learn about each other, reflect on our place
in the world, and build a better community.

To do those things, each year we
welcome 150,000 visitors, care for a world-class collection of over two million
individual objects, and host many events and programs.

And as a nonprofit
institution in the public trust, we rely on charitable contributions and
support to make all that possible. Direct financial contributions, donating
in-kind goods or services, and volunteering time help the museum function at the highest level.

In light of how important
charitable giving is, we ask you to help us celebrate it through the #GivingTuesday
campaign. Its mission is to create a national day of giving at the start of the
annual holiday season. It celebrates and encourages charitable activities that
support nonprofit organizations, like the San Diego Museum of Man.

This #GivingTuesday is December
3, 2013. Please partake in the spirit of the season by making a charitable
donation to any nonprofit institution. Donations to the Museum can be made at

Wherever you choose to give this
holiday season, we thank you for making a difference to your community.
