Experience Tower After Hours,™ our ongoing series celebrating San Diego’s unique and vibrant ethnic mix.

The San Diego Museum of Man and the Chinese community of San Diego invite you to Chinese Celebration! Come celebrate Chinese dance, music, and food as the performing arts of China come alive with Wu Shu King Fu and Tai Chi demonstrations by the Jing Institute of Chinese Martial Arts and Culture. China has a deep and fascinating history—almost 5,000 years of it! Like most other great civilizations, China's culture traces back to a blend of small groups that expanded to form the present-day country. Today, China is a vibrant, changing, and multicultural place. It is a highly populous nation, with more than one billion people and 56 ethnic groups. Historically, many eminent people contributed to Chinese culture including emperors like Li Shim (emperor Taizong of the Tang), philosophers like Confucius, and great patriotic poets like Qu Yuan. The Tower After Hours event will celebrate the unique culture of China.

Arrive early and don't miss out on this fun-filled evening! Proceeds from each Tower After Hours evening benefit Museum programs. Families are welcome. Admission prices are as follows:
