EXPERIENCE THE TOWER AFTER HOURS, the Museum's ongoing series of events celebrating San Diego's unique and vibrant ethnic mix.
On June 24, 2004, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. visitors sampled regional foods and drinks while enjoying live performances of music and dance from México. The evening began with the festive sounds of mariachi music performed by Mariachi Juvenil de San Diego. The dancers of Ballet Folklorico Nanahuatzin were on hand to showcase the vibrant and expressive folk dances from a variety of regions in México. Dances from the state of Michoacan were performed by the group Danza Michoacana Mintzita Purech.
