Experience Tower After Hours™, an ongoing series of evening events celebrating San Diego’s unique and vibrant ethnic mix.
On Thursday, June 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., the Tower After Hours series continued by celebrating the creative and culinary arts of the Philippines. Visitors enjoyed live displays of the Filipino music, dance, and culture, and local Filipino restaurants provided a sampling of traditional food and beverages, with their unique blends of indigenous, Asian, and Spanish flavors to tempt the palate.
Mabuhay is a commonly used greeting that means "long live."
Proceeds from each Tower After Hours evening benefit Museum programs. The cost of Tower After Hours is $20 for general admission, $15 for students, and $10 for Museum members. Admission is for adults ages 21 and over only, and includes entrance and exhibits, traditional food tastings, two drink coupons for traditional drinks, and live entertainment!
