EGYPTIAN DAILY LIFE and concern for the afterlife are illustrated by objects from the Dr. and Mrs. Geoffrey A. Smith Collection and the Scripps Collection. Rare artifacts over 3,000 years old include coffin and mummy masks, sacred amulets, ushabtis, falcon shrines, and mummified falcons. A human mummy, on loan from the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, is also featured.
