VISITORS COME to the
San Diego Museum of Man Store as an extension of their Museum experience, to take home a remembrance of the day or buy a gift for a friend.
In the
Store, they can find a selection of unusual ethnic merchandise of high
quality for the collector or the novice and information on exhibition topics in over 600 book titles.

Many items in the Museum
Store complement our exhibits. For example, visitors can find Egyptian jewelry and sculptures, a fine collection of Mata Ortiz pottery from Mexico,
a large variety of handmade Native American jewelry, pottery, and
carvings, whimsical Mexican folk art, and a wide array of Dia
de los Muertos merchandise. The Store also offers delightful carved animals from Oaxaca, Mexico, Guatemalan clothing, Zuni fetishes, and much more.
Merchandise for children includes craft kits and beautifully illustrated books that tell wonderful Native
legends. Children and parents can choose from musical
instruments from around the world, such as ocarinas,
panpipes, and reed flutes. To complement the instruments,
tapes and CD's offer a variety of music from Native American flutes to
Latin guitar to Peruvian panpipes.

The Museum
Store carries all of the Museum of Man publications, including Rock Art Papers, Latin American Symposium
Proceedings, and the Human Paleopathology Bibliography with
CD-ROM.
