Internships

University and college students may apply for SDMoM internships whenever they are posted. We do not have specific deadlines but instead post internship positions when they become available.  Please check back periodically for new opportunities.  Students enrolled in anthropology, history, museum studies, art history, or other related college courses with a prescribed program of study are encouraged to apply. Most Internships require at least 10 weeks of student commitment, including availability of 10-15 hours per week. The selection process is competitive given the numerous applications SDMoM receives. Qualified students will be contacted by department supervisors, based on departmental needs. Students are encouraged to apply early since internship positions are limited. Applications must be completed online.  SDMoM internships are unpaid positions and are ineligible for any type of compensation or benefits.
