Lions, Tigers, and Bears

March 7, 2018 – 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Lions, Tigers & Bears Big Cat and Exotic Animal Rescue (LTB) was founded by Bobbi Brink in Alpine, California in 2002. The rescue is dedicated to providing a safe haven to abused and abandoned exotic animals, while inspiring an educational forum to end the exotic animal trade. LTB is a no-kill, no-breed, no-contact and no-sell facility and is one of only a small number of sanctuaries in the United States with the highest level of accreditation from the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries and the American Sanctuary Association. In this presentation, LTB will talk about starting the sanctuary and tell interesting animal stories.

Free for Museum Members or with general admission.

About Living with Animals: We encounter animals everywhere in our daily lives: they cuddle up with us on the couch, crawl silently through our walls, sit on our dinner plates, and more. In this fun exhibit, you’ll take a journey and discover all the surprising, unique, and inspiring ways that we live with animals. You’ll find we’re not human without them!

Thanks to our partner, Lions, Tigers & Bears.
