PostSecret Street Team
April 27, 2019 – 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
For our new exhibit, PostSecret, our PostSecret Street Team will be hosting “pop-up” postcard-making stations throughout San Diego County over the next several months to collect and share San Diego’s secrets in the exhibit! On Saturday, April 27, from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. we’ll be at the corner of Menlow & El Cajon Boulevard for Little Saigon Stories. Come meet our street team, make a postcard, and learn more about the exhibit! Check our calendar of events for updates on where the PostSecret Street Team will be next.
More about the Exhibit:
PostSecret invites participants to anonymously write their secrets on handmade postcards. They mail the artful cards to PostSecret founder Frank Warren, and each week he selects and arranges a composition of secrets for his award-winning blog. To date, the project has received over a million submissions, some of which have been displayed at the White House and featured in six best-selling books. Warren is working with the San Diego Museum of Man to create a new exhibit featuring postcards collected in San Diego, across the country, and around the world.
About Little Saigon Stories:
Little Saigon Stories is a collection of stories through photography and film, honoring Vietnamese refugees and descendants living and working in San Diego’s Little Saigon District on El Cajon Boulevard. This full day of events celebrates the birth of the Little Saigon District and reflects on its present and future.
