CBS 8’s Ashley Jacobs recently joined us for our one-of-a-kind morning yoga classes taught by YogaOne under the 100-foot grand dome in our rotunda. Check out the video segment here!

From meeting new people and practicing yoga, to exploring the Museum before it opens, Ashley and participants enjoyed the perks of our Yoga in the Rotunda classes.

Amy demonstrates a yoga pose in front of our Monsters! exhibit.

“The Museum of Man is all about connecting people to each other and normally we do that through conversation, but yoga affords us this opportunity to do it through non-verbal ways,” said our Public Engagement Manager Cathy Lee.

Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned pro, you can get your yoga fix with these classes before our doors open to the public every second and fourth Saturday of the month. These all-levels flow classes are designed to foster a positive, non-competitive environment, encourage well-being, mindfulness, and community.

“Yoga is a great opportunity to just be present, and it gives us tools to live a healthier and happier life. We can do that here at the Museum, or outside in a park, or at the studio. It’s really important to just take a little time everyday to take care of yourself,” said Amy Caldwell, co-founder/head teacher at YogaOne.

Join us for our next class and purchase your tickets today!

Tickets are $5 for Museum Members / $10 for E-Club Members. Visit for tickets and a list of upcoming yoga classes.
